Ulundhu kanji

Ingredients:

  • Black urad - 1kg strong back
  • Peanut 150 gm
  • Black sesame seeds - 100gm
  • Badam, pista, cashew, walnut - 100gm each
  • Palm jaggery
  • Dry ginger powder
  • Cardamom powder
  • Milk or coconut milk (optional)

Roast everything together and grind to a fine powder. 

Can be mixed with jaggery and taken as laddu. 

Or mix a tbsp of powder in water. Add this to boiling water and mix well on medium heat. After few minutes, add palm jaggery, pinch of dry ginger and cardamom powder. Can add milk or coconut milk to this.

Note: Can soak urad for an hour and grind well with coconut also.

Benefits: Great for back strengthening.
