  •  Add amla while making sambhar - easy way to include the goodness of amla.
  • Boil green peas shell after washing well and use it in soups (yet to try it myself)
  • Cook left over rice with ice cubes in microwave.
  • For Soft idlis -
    • 5 cups idli rice,
    • 1 cup poha,
    • 1.5 cup urad dal,
    • 1 tbsp methi,
    • soak all together in fridge, add salt after grinding to fine paste.
