Karamani poriyal



 Ingredients

  • Karamani (soaked overnight and cooked for 3 whistles)
  • Jeera
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Curry leaves
  • Red Chillies
  • Coconut
Preparation:

Temper with mustard, split urad and curry leaves.
Then add garlic, onion, then cooked karamani and fry for a minute or two.
Add a pinch of turmeric, salt as needed, half cup water. Close and let cook for few minutes.
Grind coarsely jeera, coconut and red chillies and add to the karamani.
Sautee for 2 minutes.
